Studies & Economic Media Center (SEMC) organized a roundtable discussion about ” constitutional principles of transparency and Access to Information Right in the New Yemeni Constitution”, according to the Comprehensive National Dialogue Document in Yemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chairman of SEMC, Mr. Mustafa Nasr, clarified that the seminar aims to review the constitutional principles of transparency, Fighting Corruption, and Access to Information right, in addition to discuss a mechanism to include this principles in the upcoming Yemeni constitution. He added that SEMC seeks to enrich many constitutional principles through organizing series of seminars includes this roundtable discussion.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants in the seminar confirmed on the need of preparing clear constitutional texts includes transparency and right to access information, and Media means and CSOs have to advocate this texts.<\/span><\/p>\n

They also pointed out to the importance of promote values of transparency and integrity among the community, and focusing on administrative corruption.<\/span><\/p>\n
